New York, NY — This past spring and summer, in recognition of ever-tightening arts budgets in schools, Carl Fischer held a contest in which winners would be provided with a free year’s worth of band or orchestra music. Directors were required to submit an essay or video detailing their group’s needs and how they would benefit from winning the contest. We received thoughtful and diverse photos, videos, and essays from schools arou`nd the world, and we are delighted to announce the winners of our Music for Your Schools Giveaway:
